Pune : ‘Sadhana Weekly’, founded by Sane Guruji, who stated in his first editorial that ‘Freedom means opportunity and freedom means responsibility’, and known as an ideological and transformational magazine, is making its debut on this year’s Independence Day in the year of Amrit Mahatsava. Now many digital projects have been undertaken keeping the young generation in front of their eyes as a solid foundation to move from seventy-five to centenary.
‘Sadhana Weekly’ is making its debut on Monday (August 15) in the year of Amrit Mahatsavi, which works to strengthen individuals, institutions and organizations working in all three fields of enlightenment, design and struggle while promoting the values of the Indian Constitution. On this occasion S. M. Senior thinker Dr. Raosaheb Kasbe is the chief guest and the president of Sadhana Trust, Vivek Sawant, will preside over the program, informed Dr. Sadhana Trust Trustee. Suhas Palashikar and Editor Vinod Shirasath gave it on Wednesday. Shirasath said that ‘Digital Archive’ of fifty years from 1972 to 2022 will be inaugurated in the Amritmahotsavi program. 2500 issues published in 50 years are available on weeklysadhana.in website. Similarly, the issues of the initial 25 years will be made available in a similar format throughout the year. The new website sadhanaprakashan.in of ‘Sadhana Prakashan’ will be inaugurated in this event.
Interviews with five dignitaries Kishorechandra Dev, Balkrishna Renke, Kancha Ilaya Shepherd, Gopal Guru and Noor Zaheer on the topic ‘Yesterday’s freedom has not reached our doorstep’ and how far the fruits of freedom have reached the grassroots elements of nomads, tribals, Dalits, Bahujans and Muslim communities. This issue is being published on 15th August, Amritmahotsavi special edition of ‘Sadhana’.
